Do you happen to know if a shift from a 4R55E to a 5R55E gearbox is an "plug and play" thing or does it require any other changes ?

Now the transmission (which actually is a 4R44E )is refurbished and I bought a refurbished torque converter too - filled about 7 liters Mercon V but still no reaction except a little moving back first time in reverse and then nothing in all gears.
Am I having an electric issue ? And what should I check ?

Some questions come up.
Was there a problem with the original trans ? If so ,what ?
If there was, could it continue with the replacement trans ?

 

It was the original trans that had a broken part inside ( the trans was stuck -could only drive in 1 or 2nd gear).
