Default Check engine light
Just bought a 1997 Explorer XLT V6 4.0. The "Check Engine Light" is now lit. What are the reasons that this light would come on? And the most likely reason,

Your check engine light will come on for so many different reasons about 10k different reasons. Your best bet is to have it computer scanned at Autozone, they will do this for free. Post your results of scan and we will try to help with relevant repairs from there.
