Default code p 1260

need help, kids suv quit on him, only code is p 1260, theft detection activated, engine dis abled, where do we go and what do we do ??? Found info but does not help, check the PATS for DTCs ?
4 litre, 1998 explorer sport, quit coming up driveway, turns over but will not start

so ,,are you saying that the reason its disabled is the anti theft system has been triggered? and you need to know how to over ride that now and get it back to normalor are you still not sure whats causeing this problem? Just curious is the engine totally disabled as far as eletrical and all o just fuel system?

car has spark and fuel pressure, cranks and no start. Code scanner says p 1260, anti theft activated, engine dis abled. Drove into driveway and it stalled, would not re start

Look up diagnostics trouble definition and possible causes (Android app)


If DTCs lack of definition, You can down this android app to your phone.
I'm use it and it have more definition and possible cause for FORD vehicle.
