Default Cost of Radiator Replacement 1996 Explorer XLT

Does anyone know what the costs would be for replacing a radiator on a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT, V6-4.0 engine

Rockauto.com carries them from $70-123 depending on which MFG brand you purchase (Spectra being my choice). Local part stores will most likely be about $150+. Then your time, some knuckle skin, coolant and a few odds and ends.

I would do a good forward and back flushing of the engine and heater core before hooking up the new radiator.

If the upper and lower radiator hoses have never been replaced, now is the time to replace them, they are close to 20 years old and every time the engine moves so do the hoses.
