I have a 2000 Explorer and the driver's side door won't unlock unless I pull the handle from the interior. I have tried WD-40, the keypad on the door, the key in the lock, everything I can think of and the door won't unlock. When you put the key in the door it won't even turn. Any ideas on what might be wrong and how to fix it? It's really annoying to crawl through my truck to open the door.

 

i would take the door apart and check the conections of all the gears and stuff that conectdoor handle to lock mechanism......BUT DONT DO IT UNLESS U ARE CONFIDENT IN UR WORK OR KNOW HOW TO TAKE DOORS APART.
