Default Drive shaft bolts

my friend has a 96' explorer sport and about a week ago it started shaking like no other. i personally thought his tires were out of balance but the drive shaft was missing 3 bolts, one sheered of whe he left the school parking lot. My question is what kind of bolts do we need to use? went to checker and they gave us the wrong bolts, the thread doesn't match up and we doen't want to strip the rear end. are these bolts we need to find at a junk yard or at the dealer?

Yes! The Dealer is the best place to get them. Also make sure you use loctite on the new bolts.

You can get the bolt from ford dealer for less than 2 dollars a piece. Do not use other bolts than the one from the ford dealer.

Would be all right to use salvage yard bolts here. Most yards would'nt even charge you for them if you pull them yourself.
