Default Ford Explorer-stinky smell

FYI- Ford has put out a bulletin on Ford Explorer's that the exhaust has a design fault allowing the carbon monoxide to come into the cabin of the vehicle. If your car is over the 36,000 miles you have to ask Ford to pay for the repair - it has been almost a month and the situation still has not been fixed and I had to pay $100 "in good faith" If you have this situation please go to your dealership and report it to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - www.SaferCar.gov

Saw the CBS story. We've got a 2014 approaching 40K. Don't smell anything, but we keep the A/C in fresh air, not recirculate, mode. I put a CO detector in the car a couple weeks ago, but so far with a mix of city, freeway, and highway driving, it has not detected any CO. Nonetheless, this looks to have the potential to be a class action once someone in the ACLU gets onto it. I've read of many failed attempts to fix the problem, and that's what makes it scary.
