Default Fuel filler neck
I have a 99 Explorer. I noticed gas seeping where the filler neck connects to the hose going to the gas tank. I took the hose off and the filler neck was rusted under the hose. Any body else seen this?
The hose is an odd size about an 1"1/4 inner diameter. Every place has 1"1/2 hose.

Yes on my 2000 explorer i had to replace the filler neck and tubes it comes as a whole assembly

Was replacing the fuel filler neck a difficult DIY procedure? Anything to look out for, tips?
My 98 looks fairly rusty and time to do it.
