Okay I have a problem with my driver side door.The problem is that it will not open from the outside but from the inside.Would anyone have any idea on how to remedy the problem?If it helps for you to give me a diagnosis I would put the key in the lock and it would turn like its goin to unlock the door but its not catching on the mechanism to unlock the door.You can hear it trying to unlock(it will unlock all the other doors)but it just refuses to unlock the driver side!So if anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it,Thanks in advance.

Where would I be able to find a replacement lock for it?

 

I know it's been a while since you posted, but if you haven't fixed it yet, you might just have a broken or detached rod. There is a clip that holds the lock rod to the key tumber. If the key turns and you can hear something moving, it sounds like the rod became detached. It just slips back into the clip. If the ear on the clip is broken, then yu will have to replace it. Your local ford house will have the part.
