Default High Pitch Tranny Noise

98 XLT, 125k, 2WD
Tranny makes a high pitched noise. It's only at idle (in prk, drv, or n). Changes pitch when a/c is turned on. Very small seapage leak but fluid is still red and no burnt odor. I bought it w/ 90K and do not know if fluid has ever been changed. No shift prob. or anything. Just anoying noise.

I greatly apprecieate any insite!!

Default RE: High Pitch Tranny Noise

If you are shure that this noise is not comming from the engine i would bring it to a trans shop for a free estimate.
