i have a ? please need help
The Mas Air Flow (MAF) sensor and the Intake Air Temp (IAT) are incorporated into the same sensor mounted into the intake stream.. If you unplug this sensor and run/attempt to run the engine, the CEL will illuminate and set a DTC.. The code and light can be cleared by just disconnecting the battery.. Although if a diagnostic scan isneeded ordone, it won't 'complete' the diagnostic test until normal driving strategies are met and diagnostic monitors have reset.. In short, it would need to be driven for some extended miles to read or check for trouble codes..
Here's a few pics of the sensor/location
