I heard this weird knocking, it sounded like it was the alternator, so I replaced it. The knocking is gone now. Now the battery keeps getting drained, so I replaced the battery, the problem still isn't fixed. The battery will not stay charged and my vehicle dies. If i get it jumped it'll run for a very little while, then it dies. What could be the problem?

 

have the new alternator checked, sometimes you get a bad one right out of the box and as always make sure you check all of the connections just in case
