Question 99 ford f150 fuel problem! Wont stay running!

PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY FUEL PROBLEM!
I have a 1999 ford f150. Two days ago i pulled up to store and truck just died.
So, i thought it was my fuel pump,i replaced it with new one. Well this is where the problem comes in. It starts and runs as long as i keep pushing the gas pedal. But, as soon as i quit pushing the gas it dies. Is there someone out there that could give me some me ideals n wha on what could be doing this. I have already put a new fuel pump on it. PLEASE HELP

Replace your idle air control valve. Once you put the new one on do not give it gas to start it , just let it learn where it should idle at , it may take a few tries of starting it.
Also make sure your pcv valve vacuum hose isn't collapsed and leaking , it's usually right under the throttle body where it leaks.

I think there may be problem with idle air sensor control motor, check it and get fix to solve this issue.

I too have been dealing with my truck stalling , i had to do the same thing and over the weekiend my running lights wouldnt stay on , yesterday i found the shortand it was uinderneath the distribution box once i fixed the wire my lifgths were fixed and trhis morning i didnt hagve any problems with my truck dying out AT ALL it was almost like i had a tune-up which makes me think that the short was causing a disruption with the PCM;GEM;etc.
I drive a 2000 f150v604.2
