The problem was the ECU or as you guys call it the powertrain module.
So for testing purposes for someone else, the truck needs Pin 2,4,5,10 to connect to the scanner for POWERTRAIN OR ECU codes. If pin 7 is not present there will be no communication with other module such as airbag,antilock,etc.
