Arrow Parasitic Battery Draw

Thought I let people know of this, I did not know of it, I had bought a new Battery for a 2004 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. I tried all the things I found on You Tube videos and still was getting a battery drain. I sat here thinking about it and what it may be, After burning my brain I brought up google on my computer and asked it, if I do not lock my doors at night will it cause a battery drain, the answer shocked me to the core:

Yes, on a 2004 Ford Explorer, leaving the doors unlocked overnight can cause a battery drain because the car's computer systems remain active, drawing power, until the doors are locked. The hood and trunk/hatchback count as a door.
  • Computer Systems Remain Active:
Modern vehicles have sophisticated computer systems that manage various functions, including lights, sensors, and communication modules.
Hope this helps someone
