Hello everyone,

I have a 1992 Explorer Sport with 35k original miles (yes its 2018 and it has 35k orig miles). I think I have a rear main leak issue which was fixed twice already once by Ford under warranty in the 90's and once in 2008 by an independent shop. I read where this was an issue with this vehicle, does anyone know if Ford came out with a better part?

My vehicle is in impeccable shape with no knicks/scratches etc and looks like brand new and I just want to get it fixed properly and not have anyone knick the paint etc if this is the issue. Hoping to get some advice if others have had this issue, trying to keep my baby even longer.
