I recently picked up a '94 Explorer w/4.0L V6 4X4. Decent shape, so I want to make it last. The temp gauge was fluctuating and noticed antifreeze on the ground. Replaced the rad and hoses w/new, but the gauge still fluctuates. Burped the system twice, seems topped off, any ideas what I should do next?

in my experience, its the thermostat; i have a 2000 4.0 sohc happens about 70 k and 140 k. easy enough to replace yourself, i got estimates from dealers ranging from 120 to 140, crazy. parts are cheaper at autozone including the o ring.
