Just bought a 2000 Explorer understanding it had a slipping tranny. Wondering if you guys have a favorite location for buying rebuilts? Wondering if you can tell me what the tranny number might be, it's a 6 cylinder, automatic, 3 speed with OD.

Depends where you are...but the best bet I've found is either looking it up on google.ca or even ebay...
