Default Wheel offset different by year
I was looking to upgrade my 99 xlt with 17" rims from a newer explorer but was told the offset was different. Apparently the offset is greater on the older models (95-01) than it is since then. Is there a way to make newer oem wheels fit the older models? What would happen if the where to go on without any modifications?
