I was going to change the fuel filter for my dad on his explorer. I am not familiar with the vehicle and could not locate it.

Is it under that giant plastic cover hiding the fuel tank? If so do the 2 bolts on the hangers release that bad boy?

Front end of the tank, three bolts hold a heat shield on, then there are two nuts on another cover. Then the fuel filter will be under there.
