wiring dilemma
I am in the middle of a weird problem. I am trying to put an 89 Bronco 2 body on a heavily modified 2007 Explorer chassis. I have most of the difficult items solved and am in the process of trying to do all the incidentals. Currently I am working on the wiring and being in the peoples republic of California I need to have everything connected correctly so it meets cal emissions for the explorer.
I have in my possession the official Ford 2007 Explorer/ Mountaineer wiring diagram book, I have found a lot of problems like the coil/injector wiring, depending on where you are in the book it shows 1-4 and 5-8 both on the right and left bank. The door connector shows as being female and in reality it is male, The connector details show empty places as being filled and filled places being empty, I could go on but why? But the thing that makes the book totally useless is that the wiring colors in the book and on the car are not even close.
Don't know what they were smoking but it was definitely the wrong stuff.
Any one know of any possible source of a book with correct information?
