Default Won't Start, Reoccuring Problem...

Back in January my 93 Explorer XLT with 4.0 & an automatic Trans(1557k) wouldn't start, it kept making a click noise so I jump-started it and it was fine for a day or so, so it starts doing it again so I replace the original battery with a brand new one of better cranking power & it doesn't work so I jumped the starter solenoid to the battery and it fires right up so the next day I replace it and it was fine until yesterday, it started clicking and eventually started and now won't start at all it just clicks when the key is turned.

I tried jumping the new starter solenoid straight to the battery & kept getting the click, I also tried to jump-start it again and it still kept clicking.

The first time this happened the clicking was coming from the area arround the fender mouted solenoid, & I'm pretty sure it's coming from the same place now.

Any help would be appreciated, I really love my Explorer & my wife is mad at me so I kinda need to get it fixed soon.

Think your starter is drawing to much current (bad starter). That might explain the soleniod going bad. Just replace both at the sametime.

Check your grounds from battery to chassis to firewall, motor and any ground connectors that are in the ground circuit bay the battery.
Check your connections at the starter also for the positive feed wires.
