The other day I turned wipers on quick to let snow/ice blow off turned them off right away and they kept going. Shut off truck and still go with keys out of ignition only way to **** them off is unplug wiper motor I pulled wiper fuse and they still run. Anybody know what to replace other then trial and error starting with switch then motor and have been told could even be gem?

 

that problem is tough and you have direct short for the wiper motor. you need to check for wires that are bare and touching one another. it will be hard to find and time consuming. you will need a wiring diagram that's complete and i just thought of this your washer button could be stuck in the on position or your short may be in the steering column.

 

Well as of right now they are working normal again found out relay is on the wiper motor so replace wiper motor. Hopefully that fixes it as its functioning normally right now. I'm assuming relay was stuck.
