I have a 2008 F150 STX 4.6 V8 ....it has 125k miles, and the transmission has never shifted hard, or slipped. I was driving home last month, and beeped and showed "Trans fault" in my odometer screen. Threw a check engine light. I took it to get looked at, at a local shop. Which replaced the transmission range sensor. (Neutral Safety Switch) My truck went back to running like new, no problems for the last 3 weeks. And again, driving home...it beeps and "trans fault" is displayed with a check engine light, and the O/D light flashes...it acts like it wants to shift down while I'm driving.(Keep in mind I've been avoiding driving it at all cost). I took it to the same shop who flushed my transmission, because there was a code that said it could be cause by debris in it....which worked for a day....and is now doing the same thing.....Anyone know whats wrong? Please help!
