Hey guys, I have a 1979 2 wheel drive F-150 and need a steering column and was wondering if this one would work: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Steer...Q5fAccessories

Welcome to the site 79'f150..

Sorry about the response delay..

If memory serves, the 79 4x4 had a u-joint at the the column end, a then a sliding extension shaft with the flex coupling at the end of the shaft to connect the steering box.. 4x4's had the steering box in front of the cross member, and 2x4 had it behind the member.. The column listed looks like a 2x4 column..
