When cranking , quite a bit of power goes to the starter motor, Usually there is sufficient power available to allow the necessary things to work. If, however, there is resistance in the line going to the injectors or a poor ground in the system that supplies the computer which provides the ground for the injectors to operate. . You could be lacking enough power or ground when the starter is engaged to prevent the injectors from working. Suggest you confirm 12 volts is available to injectors with the key on. When cranking and running the computer provides the ground to fire the injectors. If power and grounds are confirmed , last but not least could be problem with computer (ECM).
