Default 1993 ford f150 ticking

i have a 1993 ford f150 xlt with a 351 5.8 v8 engine in it. i recently changed spark plugs to autolite platinum ones. they were the same that were already in the truck. however now i have a loud ticking noise when start the truck. it only started after i changed spark plugs out. any more information i will be glad to give it to whoever has dealt with this before. thanks in advance for any help i may recieve

A good place to start would be to recheck every spark plug wire for being pushed all the way down on the plug or all the way into the dist cap.

ya. i have taken spark plugs completely out. found one banged up one replaced it again and that stopped the roughness. while putting them in i did spray threads and plugs with electric cleaner and put that silicon grease on. Anyways i think the engine ticking is actually my power steering. the thing sounds like a motorcycle when i first start it and then when its running only if i turn all the way right. any ideas on if i should fix it or replace it. n what power steering fluid should i use.
