Hello I just bought this truck and she has a few little quirks but this one im having trouble looking up a fix for it.

Its got power locks that work just fine except when I hit lock/unlock one side will lock and the otherside will unlock lol.

Hi Harold,
Since the solenoids that operate the door locks rely on the correct "FLOW" of energizing current,,there is a good possibility someone got loose in there and maybe hooked up one of the solenoids reversed. Whichever one is the incorrect choice, I would see if they reversed the wiring on that door lock solenoid.

That will require opening up that door panel to do that. If someone was in there earlier, you will see all sorts of clues that they left, lol.

Thanks for the help! I think they swapped the manual doors for power doors. From what I've been told the previous owner was a very old guy so im guessing he got too old to keep cranking the windows up and down.

If they really switched doors for power windows and locks they either did a heck of a job or were just lucky. The correct wiring is critical for the power widows and locks to work correctly. Should not be to difficult to perform the last step. If you are careful , you can switch the wires, but make sure the locks work correctly before buttoning everything up. If you were good at electrical tracing you probably could switch the two wires at a convenient place instead of opening up the door.
