I’m looking for a aftermarket lower intake manifold. I have bought 3 and all of them have cracked because of past wear and tear. I have been unable to find an aftermarket solution
the ones I’ve found are all for carburated engines. Mine is fuel injected.

 

A question if you don't mind, are they all cracking in the same place, if so, there has to be a reason for that and it may not be the manifolds..

Also, have you tried any salvage yards?

If they all cracked in the same place there most likely could be a problem with the head. Many times we need to look a little further back where the RESULT is the cracked manifold and the CAUSE needs to be found.

 

they are all cracking at the Flanges and I’ve tried salvage yards I’ve found 2 intake manifolds from salvage yards and as soon as the pressure is taken off of them the flanges crack . I’m curious as to another alternative before I spend another 200 dollars on a used manifold just for it to break. They are all made out of cast aluminum to my understanding. And years of getting hot and cold they haven’t stood up to time.
