Default 1997 F150 all gauges are out--fuses are good.

I got into my truck & it looked like it was out gas, but I knew it could not be as I had just filled it a few days ago. Then I noticed that none of the gauges, or the tach or speedometer were working either. I checked all the fuses, but they were not blown. Anyone have any solutions. Thanks.

How did you check the fuses, sight or continuity tester?
You might confirm a good ground for the instrument cluster located at the lower left cowl panel.
Two other possibilities
Instrument cluster itself
GEM (generic electronic module)
