1998 F-150 Wont Start
I have a 1998 Ford F-150 with a little over 200,000 miles on it, I drove it last night and it was fine, got up today and it wouldn't start, it just clicks, I have replaced the starter and the battery, it still just clicks any sugestions on what else to try, I am really desperate, this is my wheels to work, gotta work to eat.
same thing happens to mine its and automatic transmission, found if I try to pull the shifter hard into the park and hold it ,it helps to turn overand start also if that fails to work sometimes I can put it in neutral and it will start, make sure you apply brakes if you do neutral. seems to be faulty park switch or adjustment.
try replacing the altenator! mine is doing the same thing when i charge the battery up it will crank an run fine for a while! i put a brand new batter an had the altenator checked an it is good! so i dont know what else to do ne ideas!?
