Default 2002 f150 No illumination

Hello,

So the conundrum is on my 2002 F150. I was going to leave a friends house one night and my dash lights and climate control lights stopped working. The indicators like blinkers, hi-beam, Ses, (etc) still work but nothing is illuminated. And yes before being a doop, I checked to see if the dimmer was turned down and it isnt. Since they both went out at the same time its leading me to not believe its each individual light but I cant find anything in the manual to help me.

Some vehicles have a small rated (5 amp) fuse just for the dash lamps. check the fuses first. If all is well when replaced, if that is what the problem was, fine.
If it was the fuse and it blows again , next question, was anybody doing any work under the dash?
