2006 back fires when starting

Default 2006 back fires when starting

I have a 2006 F150 5.4 when cranking over to start the engine seems like it kicks back. It make a different sound. And is very hard starting at times. Any ideas on what wrong.

Im sorry for not getting back sooner. My internet has been crap.


No nothing has been done to it. I had a problem back in Aug and replaced the crank sensor.


I just don't know what to do there is no lights on or check engine light on.

Before offering any suggestions some addl info would be good to have.
Have you owned the vehicle from new?
Was the crank sensor purchased from Ford?
What kind of oil have you been using in the vehicle?
