2006 F-150 Truck 4x4 water in passenger floorboard
when a/c is on water is some how leaking into passenger floorboard...
i took it to a shop and here is what all they have tried the 4 times I have taken it back because it is still leaking in floorboard. HELP!!! Any ideas are greatly welcome.
1st--blew air in condensation drain line--not clogged...water drains onto ground fine when ac is running.
2nd--changed out some small filter (blue color) in a line associated with A/C system...??
3rd --installed a different fiitting from the condensation box to the drain line...like a 90 degree elbow that ford recommended on some website...
4th--replaced a small filter/thermastat type deal???...not real sure.. it has to do with the ac...was about 1" in dia and 2 " long and round shaped...
Guys I do not know much about vehicles, but hopefully I have given someone enough info that you can respond with some ideas to try.
The guy that has been working on this says he is out of ideas.
I would just take it to the local ford dealership but I can't spend the $$$ they charge people right now.
Thanks,
Craig
