My 2005 Ford Focus is leaking into the carpet from under the panel to the right of the glove box and forward of the door opening. It does not appear to be from the AC or from the air intake at the bottom of the windshield. The wire bundle to the door was loose but I tightened the ring and duct taped to seal but the leak is still there. Is there a place to look for debris near the bottom right corner of the windshield that may be diverting rain into the car?

I am hearing that this problem is not uncommon to the Focus but so far I have not found any suggestion that has worked in my situation.
