Default 2011 F-150 XLT 4X4 (Check 4x4 indication)

I recently bought a used 2011 XLT 4X4. And the first time I used 4X4 I put it in high it said check 4x4, drove around a little and it seemed fine. I then put in in Low and turned left and heard a pop. After that when I turn left about 30° and crawl (in 2WD) it grinds a little, then I took a 400 mile trip then picked up a trailer and brought it back another 400 mi and since then at 20 mph it rolls rough from the front left wheel/drive shaft area. Anything above or below 20 mph it’s fine. Now when I turn left at the 30°ish mark it seems real tight, and grinds more. I just put it in 4 high in Park then to low, it told me to put it in neutral, so I did, and it successfully when to low but didn’t hear the transfer case or diff lock, then it wouldn’t go back to 2WD. Until I went back and forth a few times. I put it back in 4 High and backed out of my driveway and put it in drive, turned left at the problem area and picked my foot off the gas and it rolled to a point and binded, like it’s suppose to. Then put it back in 2H and it did the same thing.

So I think it might not be successfully switching back to 2WD. Can someone let me know if they got the same thing and what ended up being the fix? Thanks in advance!
