Default 2011 F150 Overheating

I have a 2011 F150 3.5l w/ EcoBoost that will overheat only while driving inclined hills/mountains. It has 110,000 miles and I recently purchased it. I have not pulled anything as of yet and maintains stable temps during long road trips. Temp gauge raises to danger point and overheat icon comes on dash. Fans have come on normally and had the dealership scan it but no codes to read and runs perfectly. Has anyone with a similar model experienced this? If so, what was the resolution? Any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated because I'm out of ideas and the dealer can't explain it. Ty!

A quickie,,,,,,,,,,check and make sure the lower radiator hose has the spring in it to prevent it from collapsing when when engine is working harder and water pump is pulling from lower hose.

Running hot while driving hard is usually a water flow issue. I would be looking at your radiator which may have a buildup partially blocking the water tubes inside.I would also change out the thermostat with an OEM replacement.

Great suggestion! I'll check it and post my findings. Thank you!

Thank you! I'll be checking the tubes. Sounds like it's a blockage issue. I appreciate all the feedback here!
