Default 2013 map light not working on driver side when door opens

I have a 2013 f150 fx2 and the map light on the drivers side won’t turn on when I open the door. I can press it manually and it works fine but it won’t turn on when door opens. The passengers door works fine. I changed the bulb, same result. Please let me know if anyone can help!
thanks

Not sure what you mean by map light.

There are three lights that come on when you open the door. The main light in middle of the roof and the two front dome/map lights that are right above the gear shifter. It’s the driver side front dome light.
I hope that helps, thanks!

In you owner's manual under the chapter of "Maintenance and Specifications" it should list the number of every bulb used in your vehicle. Check what it takes and then you might look to see how much problem it is to replace it. Some you can replace just by carefully pulling out the lamp assy and some can be more involved to replace.

Thanks but I tried to replace the bulb already, still the same issue. It works when you press it manually but it won’t automatically come on when the door opens up. The passenger side works correctly, it’s just the drivers side.
