Hello All- just bought my first F150 last week. Excitedly, I started doing small cosmetic changes. Yesterday, I changed the headlights to LED. When I finished, I noticed that my right drl (blinker) was off and left was on (constant solid). I figured the right one was bad so I disconnected/re-connected and nothing. Then I tested the blinkers and noticed the left hyper blinked on the dash, the front bulb remained solid but the back blinked normally.

could this require a flasher relay? Any help is appreciated.

 

Some LEDs come with an internal ballast and some require a ballast resistor be added..
