Thumbs down 2019xl manual shift button 4 6 speed trans

HI : They have it on the right side stalk. Horrible ergonomics. Has anyone used sync to move it to the up/down arrows on the left side of steering wheel ?
How would I figure out how to move that switch to somewhere that isn't always blocked by the steering wheel ?

Where would you like the switch to be?

I sounds like a silly question, but depending on the type switch and how many wires are involved , usually a switch location can be relocated. Without actually looking at the switch and wiring not a good idea to say no problem. Hope you understand.

The switch is already there on the left side of the steering wheel. It has up/down.left.right/ok. The up/down mucks with the gauage display stuff - you'd never use this WHILE driving.
Is there a way to reprogram it so that the up arrow swtich goes up a gear and the down arrow, down a gear when the trans is in M ?
Repurpose what's already there. The current display switching functions would work when you're not in M on the trans. So one would be able to switch gears using the steerkin wheel switches which are in a
visible space and have better feel than the one on the rt side stalk.
