2021 F-150 with Emission Control System indicator
#2
Can you tell us exactly what you believe to be the problem?
With normal use ,we would hope the answer to be no.
However , if the operator when filling the fuel tank did not stop adding fuel once the fuel nozzle shut off, that could cause emission system problems.
Most folks are not aware of just how much problems this can produce. AND it all falls under the title of emission problems.
Where do we stand here?

That is good to know! Neither my husband nor I continue pumping gas after it shuts off so that shouldn't be the cause. So far, we don't have a problem but the dummy light for emission control system came on the other day--and went off yesterday.
