Default 2021 Hybrid Lunging Issue

I have a 2021 F-150 Lariat Hybrid with 12,000 miles on it. About 3 weeks ago I was driving it and came to a complete stop and it felt like someone rear ended me. That didn't happen but it lunging and jerking after coming to a complete stop is still happening. It mostly happens after I am in Hybrid mode and then come to a complete stop. I have attached a video of it so you can see and hear it.

The earliest any dealership has an opening is October to get this looked at/fixed.

Any suggestions?

I do have other issues with going on but will post that in a different thread.

Thank you for your time.

Their answer is not acceptable. This is a safety issue. You need to go higher and talk with Ford district manager (Corporate) and explain the situation. You should get a loaner if they cannot take you in. That even would speed up the process.

You could have a good independent facility look at it. You pay them to fix it in hopes of getting reimbursed by Ford for your expenses. You may have to go to small claims court to get it however.

To suggest performing some kind of repair here is not appropriate with a safety issue and could void your warranty.

My 2022 truck would go into a emergency braking mode while backing up when I had a bike rack attached to the rear hitch receiver. I went into Features and disabled this setting. Adaptive cruise control is also a problem for many vehicles and not just the ones from Ford. The only auto feature I want is having all the cab lights go on when I open a door.

Follow up.

Was finally able to get buy truck into the dealership to get looked at. Besides a lot of software updates, the lunging issue was due to a transmission pump and had to be replaced. My truck was in the shop for a month and a half and I was given a rental car. Ford Customer Relations also helped out by reimbursing me a truck payment due to the amount of time it was in the shop. I did get it back and everything works like it should.

Always nice to hear when a dealership does what it is expected to do, thanks for the update.
