4.2 V6 in a '98 F150
Bought the truck in '04. Hydrolocked in '05. Engine replaced in '05 (the mechanic hammered the harmonic balancer on and I didn't know it). 6 months later the balancer seperated from it's collar and was free wheeling. Found the problem and had a different mechanic replace it. Recently the balancer bolt head sheared off at some unknown time.
Drilled the recesssed bolt and had a easyout (at this point it's an oxymoron) break in it. I read some place that with the bolt head gone, the bolt itself should not be hard to remove. Not my case.
Does anyone have any ideas for removal of both the easyout and what remains of the bolt?[/align]
