4x4 issues
Hi i have a 95 F150 off road edition 4inch lift with 35inch tires, that has the push button 4x4 with auto hubs....
it wont engage at all, no lights come on for the 4x4 buttons at all, i bought the truck like this and have no idea what it could be, any suggestions or advice would help alot.. thanks

I had the same problem. And I also had auto hubs. Fords auto hubs, complete garbage. Id be confident in saying that your hubs are shot. At o reillys you can pick up the set of warn manual locking hubs for around a hundred bucks.

I'll be the first to defend AUTO HUBS. First, the AUTO Hubs are made for Ford by Warn, so if they're junk, than Warn makes junk. Auto hubs are different animals and are not made to be operated the same way somebody would use manual hubs.

Since you have the push button 4X4 system, you have a shift motor on the back of you transfer case. This is probably your culprit. They crud up inside from low/non-use (common issue). Look at the back of the transfer case and look for what looks like a wiper motor. Remove the unit and open it up. You may need the security torx bits to do this. Clean the unit up inside, apply new grease, reassemble and the before bolting the unit back in, try the operation to ensure it works. If not, then a new one is in order.
