Hey guys I just found this forum and I have been building my 86 f150 for a few months now and im doing a full restore on it. off frame. and I have been trying to figure out why my tranny/transfer case is acting up. When you put it into gear it makes almost like a bang sound and when it downshifts it kinda jerks a bit. I have been told its the transfer case chain/tranny mounts. so im not sure of what to do at this point i don't wanna go spend big bucks on a new transfer case if I don't have too. but if anyone has any ideas let me know!!!
