ok i just bought a 90 f150 5.0 automatic. i have a 91 5.0 gt automatic that was flipped 5 times. i want to take the motor and the mass air flow, possibly the aod outa it also. i have two 5.0 ho motors so if the one in the flipped car aint good i still got one. ok so what i need to know is how do i do it ive ready alot and im getting real confused. im a pretty descent mechanic and alright at wiring. so any help would be great im trying to do it cheap since i have a hole mustang for parts. thanks

 

First - if you're going touse the engine from the flipped car - tearthe blockdown and take it to the machine shop to check for stress fractures (magnaflux). Next - a car automatic transmission is likely to be geared to high for any decent towing/hauling from the truck. Keep the truck transmission. Keep the truck intake and ignition system and slap it on your next motor - it will keep most major electrical problems away. 302 to 302 most parts can flip-flop to where you need them.
