Default 93 f150 burning wires?

Ihave a 93 F150, 302. On the way home the other morning, the truck began pulling hard to the right, almost like I had really low tire pressure. I began to smell burning wires and smoke started coming from under the hood near my cowl on the passenger side of my truck. I stopped and popped the hood, but could not tell where the smoke was coming from. When I began driving it again, when I would use my brakes, it would also pull hard to the right. I let the truck sit for a while and the problem has not come back...any ideas? Thanks

Could be a brake caliper going bad. It may have gotten dirt jammed in the piston locking the brake on and smoking off your brake pads on that wheel 'till it heated up and let loose.
