Set cruise...it surges down the highway.
it also well lag a bit I'd ya gently ease into throttle. ..

Any thought to look at

If possible have the computer checked for any stored codes . That would provide some direction and maybe save some time if it has any stored. If the check engine lite has come on any time those codes would be in it's memory.
