Howdy all
I am working on this truck and it stollen off of the car lot that I am trying to help this guy out. What my problem is, that I don't know how to get that dumb lock assembly out of door. I tried watching the video on YouTube but it doesn't seem to show how to remove the latch

 

The outside door handle needs to be removed, behind the handle assembly the lockset is held in place with a horseshoe snap ring.
If you need the info to remove the door trim panel, let me kmow and I'll send it out.

 

Well I got it out and freed up the locking mechanism on it so now it locks without problems. I still need to replace the lock cylinder so that I can lock it and unlock with the key. I just would like to know how to make the same key for the door as the ignition key
