Default 98 F-150 check engine light

went to autozone to test check engine light, cylinder 2 missfire. installed bosch double platinum plugs 12 months ago. figured it was plug wires. pulled booty off plug 2 and there was oil on the booty. pulled out plug and plug was covered in oil. cleaned off plug and booty, cleaned out plug well. truck is still sputtering this morning. anybody know why there would be oil in the plug well and how serious a problem it is? i have since returned the plug wires figuring the oil was the problem and not the wires.

The oil in the spark plug well is from the vaulve cover leaking,It's not that big of a job.
